MULTILINGUAL FAX SERVICES OFFERED
FOR FDA BIOTERRORISM COMPLIANCE
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. - December 11, 2003 - C.L. Global announced today that it now offers complete processing services by fax in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish for facility registration under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Bioterrorism Regulations. Owners of facilities that manufacture, process, pack or hold food for human or animal consumption in the United States must register with the F.D.A by December 12, 2003 under U.S. Bioterrorism laws.
Failure to comply can result in goods being withheld at the US point of entry, expenses for storage and transportation, and criminal or civil penalties. The F.D.A. has estimated that 205,405 foreign facilities will need to register and at a cost of 247.6 million USD in the first year and $164.5 million USD annually thereafter.

Global fax processing service, a user calls the phone number for the language of his choice, enters his fax number, and a registration package in that language is automatically faxed to him. After completing the registration forms, the user faxes the materials and credit card payment information to C.L. Global, the registration is processed and the user receives his F.D.A. facility registration number by fax from C.L. Global. The user can also designate C.L. Global as his facility's U.S. Agent. Designation of a U.S. Agent is another requirement of the regulations.
